Job Title: HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver
Location: Cannock
Salary: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour
Hours: 60-70 per week

Our client is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join their dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring that high standards of customer service and operational excellence are maintained.

We're looking for a driver with a positive attitude, who is polite and professional when interacting with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely transporting goods across designated routes, ensuring the security and integrity of products in transit.
* Completing all necessary paperwork and following assigned delivery schedules and routes accurately.
* Conducting daily checks and logging any vehicle defects, reporting issues to management promptly.
* Adhering strictly to drivers hours, tachograph regulations, and company policies.
* Wearing the correct PPE at all times and maintaining the cleanliness and order of the vehicle.
* Offering professional and courteous service to all customers, addressing queries where needed.
* Coordinating with managers and team members to report any delivery or route issues.
* Conducting pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and compliant with company standards.
* Assisting with the loading and unloading of cargo when required.
* Acting as an ambassador for the company, always ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
* HGV Class 1 License (essential).
* Driver CPC Card (essential).
* At least 1 year of experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
* Good understanding of drivers hours laws and tachograph regulations.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong organisational and time- management skills.
* Must be willing to tramp Monday to Friday.
* Curtain Sider experience (preferred).
* 2 years' Class 1 experience preferred but not essential.
* Stable work history without frequent job changes.
