Job Description:
Boxpark are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our site corporate sales and in house events. This role involves overseeing the sales and delivery of corporate and group sales, managing key client relationships, and driving revenue growth for our vibrant venues. The candidate will work closely with senior leadership in Head Office, as well as the site General Manager, to develop and implement strategies that ensure Boxparks commercial success.
This role will be based in one of our London venues. We have a number of Sales and Marketing manager roles available including Croydon, Wembley and Shoreditch.
Key Responsibilities
1. Responding to a high volume of enquiries in an efficient and timely manner.
2. Responsible for room hire, activation space hire, and full venue takeovers.
3. Advising clients on best spaces and layouts for their events, as well as optimising venue occupancy and cross selling to other venues.
4. Creating bespoke and packaged service proposals and quotations.
5. Scheduling and conducting site visits for all levels, from PAs to C-suite executives.
6. Entering enquiries accurately onto the venue’s CRM and booking system.
7. Negotiating terms with clients, with assistance from the Head of Partnerships as required.
8. Preparation and issuing of venue hire and event package contracts.
9. Briefing/handing over to the site operations team or assisting with the event delivering depending on size/value.
10. Account management and relationship building to grow accounts organically.
11. Liaising with and managing food traders for all catering requirements for the events.
12. Liaising with and recommending approved suppliers and assisting with defining clients’ requirements as necessary.
13. Assisting with and participating in hospitality, trade shows and industry events to maximise ROI.
14. Developing and excellent knowledge of local market and key verticals and implementing a plan to proactively generate new business.
15. Proactively building relationships with clients to maximise revenue generation, gross profit, and repeat business.
16. Oversee the planning and execution of events to maximise revenue and enhance Boxparks brand.
17. Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management on performance.
18. Supporting the Head of Partnerships with department projects, planning and processes.
Key Skills & Experience:
The successful candidate is likely to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of Corporate Sales and Event Management.
Familiarity with the London City market and local businesses.
Strong financial acumen and experience in forecasting and planning to achieve budgeted sales.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Location:
This role is based in from a London Boxpark venue with the possibility of occasional travel for meetings and events. Will require working some evenings and weekends to oversee events and corporate activities.
