Responsibilities:
As a Laboratory Technician, your role will encompass a range of essential duties:
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practise (GMP) principles
Execute standardised methodologies for:- Batch production records
- Sample testing and qualification
- Equipment calibrations
Document sample submissions in Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN)
Communicate effectively with the Supervisor regarding compliance findings and improvement programmes
Proactively identify hazards or quality-impacting issues
Take ownership of your work quality and collaborate on improvement initiatives
Schedule and track all agreed laboratory activities
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
BSc in a scientific field
Recent laboratory experience in the chemical industry
Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing and laboratory practises
Familiarity with analytical techniques, particularly for product development
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Experience in Wet Chemical/Analytical/QC laboratories
Proficiency in measuring pH, viscosity, rheology, and colour
Experience with batch-making techniques
Technologies:
Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN)
Laboratory equipment for analytical testing
