Description
A leading Demolition and Earthworks contractor is looking for you to become their HSEQ Advisor, based on multiple sites nationwide. Due to the nature of the project and risk portfolio, you must have demonstrable experience in Demolition or a related sector.
Reporting directly to the Head of HSEQ, you will be responsible for all aspects of health and safety in this company and on site. You will also be:
1. Liaising with project managers and ultimately influencing the safety culture across the site.
2. Writing risk assessments and method statements.
3. Controlling associated demolition hazards, such as dust, vibration, and noise control.
4. Performing site inspections and audits.
5. Driving the Health & Safety agenda with site and project teams.
To apply for this role, you will need to be an experienced Health & Safety professional with relevant construction experience, managing risk on high-hazard sites. You will have worked with a major demolition and civil contractor in a similar role. You will also be:
1. NEBOSH/NCRQ-qualified (ESSENTIAL).
2. IT literate and able to write reports.
3. Able to deliver in-house training where applicable.
4. A strong character with the ability to build relationships.
5. Experienced in Demolition (ESSENTIAL).
This is an excellent opportunity for a health and safety specialist to take the next step in their career and join a leading demolition contractor. You will earn a salary of between £45-55,000 plus vehicle and will be joining them at a time of considerable and sustained growth. Due to the geography of the projects, you must be willing to travel.
