Our very busyMurrayfield Day Nursery are seeking an experienced SeniorPractitioner to join the management team as a Quality andDevelopment Manager supporting the Head Of Room and Team within theroom and working alongside the Management Team in ensuring bestpractice throughout your room and with the other Quality andDevelopment Managers for the Nursery. Ideal candidates would besomeone in a similar role or if you are a manager or deputy managerlooking for a "more hands on role" looking atquality and ensuring best practice supporting training togetherwith being a senior team leader. Hours are 38 per week covering 5days with generousbenefits.
TheMurrayfield Nursery is part of CC Nurseries and is based inEdinburgh at our busy 90 place nursery we offer a homefromhomeenvironment led by our passionate and caring team our nursery isfilled with handpicked resources (natural where possible) toencourage selfdirected play and discovery. Outside we have a largesecure outdoor space including fire pit fish pond and outdoorclassroom as well as a separate area for the youngest children toenjoy fun. Requirements
Asa Nursery Quality and Development Manager youwill:
Supportall teams within the Nursery working alongside theManager.
Work with the NurseryRoom Leader in ensuring best practice within theroom
Ensure that the teams areproviding stimulating and purposeful experiences environments andresources to children that are appropriate to their age and stageof development.
Ensure the safetyand wellbeing of every child staff parent and visitoralways
Support the Room Leader inleading their teams together with supporting their training needsto ensure best practicealways.
Understand and ensure thatthe requirements of the statutory framework for the CurriculumExcellence are followed
Qualifiedlevel 3 or above with at least 4 years experience of working in aNursery and at least 2 years experience of a leadership similarrole
