Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Senior Practitioner within the Assessment Team to work part-time based in Waltham Forest.
The salary for this permanent Senior Practitioner job is up to £46,857 per annum.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct statutory and/or complex specialist assessments of vulnerable children and young people to determine intervention/referral to the appropriate service.
2. Plan, deliver and oversee interventions for a complex caseload and review cases where appropriate.
3. Provide professional expert advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies in supporting children and young people.
4. Liaise internally and externally with colleagues from other agencies to ensure children and young people's interests are supported.
5. Maintain properly documented case files, records, and information. Prepare standard reports as required.
6. Mentor and support others in their development.
7. Carry out all duties with an awareness and understanding of the Safeguarding Requirements within the area of responsibility.
8. Proactively develop professional knowledge, skills, and behaviors.
9. Act in accordance with all policies and procedures which apply to the job and understand the reasons for this.
10. Contribute to the Strategic Development of the Service and undertake service planning and service review activities.
11. Represent the service at departmental and other agency working parties.
Requirements:
1. Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
2. Current Social Work England Registration.
3. Experience within Children's/Adults Services.
4. Full Drivers Licence and have use of a vehicle.
