Customer Service Executive
Location: Wednesbury
Working Schedule: Monday – Friday 40 hours No Weekends.
Salary: £27,106 + Bonus
We are a newly formed business from the merging of two existing businesses named Guardsman and National Safety Supplies (NSS), both being some of the most respected and successful distributors of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the UK. NSS, in 2001 and Guardsman in 2014 were bought by Bunzl, a prominent FTSE 100 company with a global turnover exceeding £11 billion (in 2023). The Role
To assist in the achievement of company sales, profit, and customer service targets.
Key Responsibilities
SALES & CUSTOMER SERVICE
1. Develop strong, sustainable relationships with customers and supplier base, primarily by telephone and e-mail.
2. Answer incoming calls, assisting customers in a professional and efficient manner. Processing sales orders and quotes accurately and efficiently.
3. Deal with all customer issues/ queries/ requests for product and service information promptly, efficiently, and courteously, ensuring appropriate follow-up is completed where required.
4. Maintain effective communications and good working relationships with all internal and external teams, particularly operations, sales, stock control and credit control to ensure maximum customer service levels are achieved.
5. Ensure all correct complaint procedures are complied with ensuring a satisfactory resolution.
6. Manage out of stock items by communicating with purchasing and advising customer accordingly.
7. Providing general administrative support. Look for alternative products for out of stock items to retain sale.
8. Help with the onboarding of customers and customer products within our digital platforms.
Grow and develop new and lapsed accounts within core range against targets working with other sales staff to achieve maximum potential.
Understand and strive to meet agreed company targets. Managing your time and projects efficiently whilst contributing to group performance to achieve team success.
Your Skills
Telephone/ Customer facing experience, Outbound sales experience.
