Responsible for the management, leadership, and delivery of an effective high quality Occupational Health (OH) service for the service and as required to external organisations that the service has a Service Level Agreement with.

Provide specialist OH advice and clinical services to managers and employees of the service.
Provide departmental OH leadership undertaking all aspects of line management for the OH nursing team within their area.
Management of the clinical area including managing resource, maintaining a safe environment to implement high standards of OH services.
Monitor standards of OH service, client experience and safety through robust evaluation and implementation of appropriate action.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: As a qualified Senior Occupational Health Nurse, the main duties of the role will be to: • Manage and provide professional leadership for the delivery of an effective high quality Occupational Health service for the service and as required to external organisations.
• Provide professional leadership for all OH nursing staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Provide OH clinical leadership, ensuring the standard of evidence-based care delivered to staff is of the highest quality.
• Contribute to strategic OH work, including attendance at key meetings representing OH e.g.
Workforce and OD, Health and Safety, Strategic Immunisation Group, Infection Prevention and Control Committee and interdepartmentally take a lead for specific projects e.g.
SEQOSH standards, OH management systems, Employee Assistance initiatives, Continual Professional Development Lead, Mentorship for new OH staff.
• Demonstrate considerable initiative, work autonomously, and establish relationships with service users and agencies and be a key player in the evolving OH service in line with current OH initiatives on multiple sites • Work alongside the OH Wellbeing Service Improvement Manager to develop the OH service within the service Please contact 0208 175 1111 for further information regarding the role available Payrate: £35 per hour Hours for work: 8am
