Randstad Student Support has a fantastic opportunity for an Assistive Technology Trainer to provide training on software and hardware to University students and individuals based in the workplace, with specific learning disabilities.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver tailored assistive technology training plans for university students and workplace professionals with disabilities
* Provide individualised training sessions on a variety of assistive software and hardware
* Maintain up-to-date and accurate training records
* Commit to ongoing professional development and potentially adjust to flexible working hours
Required:
* Experience in teaching or training assistive technologies
* Background in working with individuals with disabilities or specific learning differences
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisational skills with proficiency in MS Office
* Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and quickly learn new assistive technologies
Desirable:
* Experience working with students in higher education
* Knowledge of specific learning difficulties like dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders
