Remote with travel around the Birmingham region\nKey Responsibilities\nDeliver teaching and learning for Adult Care Apprenticeships/Diplomas across Levels 2–5, catering to mixed-ability learners in both one-to-one and group settings.\nEnsure timely delivery of Apprenticeships/Diplomas, maintaining high learner satisfaction, retention, and success rates.\nSupport learners in developing Maths, English, and digital skills to help them reach their full potential.\nPrepare schemes of work, lesson plans, assignments, and assessments as required.\nAssess learners' work in accordance with organisational and awarding body requirements.\nKeep accurate records, monitor, and track learners' progress to meet quality assurance and reporting requirements.\nRegularly review learner progress with both learners and employers (at least every eight weeks).\nProvide developmental feedback to learners, supporting their career progression and future aspirations.\nOffer careers advice and guidance, signposting learners to relevant platforms and support services.\nMonitor and record both on- and off-the-job training to demonstrate learner progress.\nPromote the Prevent Duty and British values to enhance learners' understanding.\nAttend regular standardisation meetings and respond promptly to IQA feedback.\nParticipate in observations of teaching, learning, and assessment, as well as appraisal processes.\nContribute to external quality assurance and inspection preparations.\nEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and organisational safeguarding responsibilities.\nMaintain accurate learner and employer records on the e-Portfolio system.\nSupport enrolment processes, providing information, advice, and guidance to learners.\nUndertake administrative duties as required by the organisation.\nAssist the Compliance Officer in conducting Health and Safety pre-vetting reports/updates on employer premises.\nAttend monthly one-to-one meetings and caseload reviews with the Lead IQA.\nStay up to date with relevant legislation, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity, Prevent, and British values.\nQualifications & Experience\nA recognised Teaching Qualification.\nA recognised Assessor Qualification.\nFunctional Skills in Maths and English at Level 2 or equivalent.\nPrevious experience delivering Health and Social Care courses.\nProven track record of achieving strong learner outcomes.\nExperience supporting learners aged 16+ towards positive outcomes.\nSkills & Attributes\nExcellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nStrong IT skills and ability to use e-Portfolio systems effectively.\nVocational experience and up-to-date CPD within the sector.\nFull UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.\nPaul Feldman is the National Skills Agency Data Protection Officer.
