We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused person to join the Doctoral School Team for a 12-month maternity cover position.
As a Doctoral School Support Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for prospective PGR students, delivering high quality customer-centric support. You will play a key role responding to enquiries, guiding candidates through the application process, monitoring attendance and supporting activities across the student lifecycle.

Key responsibilities or requirements
* Working as an integral part of the administrative support team, ensuring coordination of effort and effective working practices.
* Preparing and formatting a wide range of documents such as reports, papers, agenda and minutes.
* Updating spreadsheets and databases accurately, running and presenting standard reports as required.
* Operating according to internal controls and best practice, challenging non-compliance and referring upwards as necessary.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with proven experience in engaging with people at all levels.
