We are recruiting support workers and teaching assistants from a wide variety of creative backgrounds such as art, music, or acting who are keen to apply their creative skills within a Primary school in Lincoln.
As a teaching assistant, you will be required to think creatively and apply your skills to sensory sessions, develop students' hand-eye coordination, speech & language skills, social/communication skills, independence, and cognitive processes. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work within a variety of different subjects such as cooking, art, & music.
The role:
1. Working full time - Monday to Friday
2. Engaging students through creative activities such as music, art, & cooking
3. One-to-one support focusing on students' communication and hand-eye coordination
4. Helping with sensory integration within the classroom
5. Working with the teacher to assess pupils' levels and ability
6. Ensuring the school's ethos and policies are being implemented
