What will you do?
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join the Construction, Maintenance, and Facilities Management (CMFM) department within the Environment & Communities Department of Enfield Council. The department manages a GBP1bn+ portfolio of assets, including commercial, industrial, retail, office, cultural, and leisure properties, alongside significant future development and regeneration opportunities.
As a Construction Project Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of an ambitious capital programme exceeding GBP100m over the next five years. You will be responsible for defining, developing, procuring, and delivering a mix of capital construction projects, ranging from GBP750k to GBP10m, across a variety of internal and external stakeholders. These business–critical property programmes include Corporate, Education, and Community building developments.
What do you need?
To succeed in this role, you will need:
UK Resident
Significant experience managing complex construction projects.
Broad knowledge of health and safety law, including the CDM Regulations.
Experience with public sector contracts procurement.
Chartered membership of CIOB, RICS, or APM is essential.
What will the working week look like?
2 days in the office.
2 days on project sites (surveying, monitoring progress, meeting consultants, and contractors).
1 day WFH.
Flexibility is offered, but no more than 2 days per week WFH will be permitted.
