Account Manager The Account Manager will play an important role in growing existing customers by managing Client relationships and working with the Operations team to ensure work packages meet client expectations on cost and delivery. Setting the account development strategy in conjunction with the Business Development Director. Supporting the Engineering Delivery Manager in negotiating scope of work increases. Manage and generate proposals to customers. Coordinating proposals inputs with the Operations team to ensure timely response. Develop new business opportunities with existing clients. Support customer review meetings and programme review meetings with the customer. Provide customer news and intelligence to the wider client team. Management of customer feedback and customer satisfaction process for their area of responsibility. Creation and management of account action plans to deliver the development strategy. Assisting with the development of the working process for project management and bid management, working with the Operations team. Preparing and delivering management information such as weekly/monthly sales reports to the KDC management team. Key Experiences and Skills Practical experience in Account Management within engineering environment. Ability to articulate opportunity requirements to engineers, managers, and directors, internally and externally. Experience of working to tight deadlines on proposal delivery. Negotiating skills and general commercial awareness. Good Inter-personal skills and strong organisational skills. Exceptional customer interface skills, including relationship building and management. Works autonomously. Needs to communicate internally & externally.
