The client is a family-run Maintenance, Planned Work, M&E, and Compliance provider. We are looking for a Roofing Contracts Manager to join our award-winning team. You will be responsible for a team delivering reactive, day-to-day, and planned roofing maintenance works throughout the northwest and central regions of the UK.
Role Overview: Roofing Contracts Manager
1. Responsibility for managing and overseeing various roofing maintenance and planned works from quotation to completion.
2. Effectively manage daily deployment and scheduling of engineers and subcontractors to optimize productivity and minimize travel time.
3. Ensure that engineers and subcontractors consistently meet quality control standards, identifying and requesting training requirements for the team and providing mentorship to new team members.
4. Ensure jobs are delivered on time and within budget, along with maintaining site safety and quality.
5. Deal with customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
6. Meet clients or subcontractors to assess work, produce quotations/estimates, and deliver within budget. Provide an advisory service and develop effective relationships with client representatives.
7. Work closely with the Contract Support Team to ensure required information is collated and added to the system.
Required or Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
1. Roofing trade qualifications/background.
2. Strong focus on customer service and customer satisfaction.
3. Quoting/estimating experience required.
4. Solid background in managing roofing work.
5. Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across all levels.
6. Ability to work within a pressured environment, including multi-tasking, problem-solving, and working independently.
7. IOSH - Desirable.
8. Demonstrable experience using a range of IT packages to communicate with all parties to the contract. Fully conversant with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and a willingness to learn other systems.
9. Reliable and punctual, with the ability to manage own time and workload.
Dress code is smart casual. The role is office-based with site visits in a 65/35 split.
We are offering:
1. Permanent, full-time contract.
2. Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 depending on experience.
3. Hours: Mon-Fri, 08:00am-17:00pm.
4. Holidays: 22 days per annum, plus 8 Bank Holidays, increasing with service to a maximum of 25.
