You will be working on the MotorDesk platform, developing new features and enhancing its functionality to improve performance and user experience.
MotorDesk is a fully integrated ecosystem of tools that consolidates the functionality of multiple independent platforms into one seamless system. It covers everything from stock management and invoicing to website development and social media automation, with integrations spanning over 100 third-party systems.
In this role, you'll start by working on simple website modules and gradually take on larger projects, including full website development, API integrations, and enhancements to MotorDesk's core functionality.
You're the perfect fit if you...
* Love technology and web apps, and learn new products/software quickly.
* Communicate well with a high level of written and spoken English.
* Take ownership of your work, are self-motivated and organised.
* Have a strong attention to detail and enjoy problem solving.
* Love PHP development and have good experience working with a large codebase.
* Have at least 3 years PHP development experience.
* Can create your own PHP applications without frameworks, and adapt to new frameworks.
* Have experience with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, SQL and AWS.
* Enjoy creating pure, simple and efficient PHP code.
* Are reasonably close to and can travel to Harkstead, IP9, UK.
* Have a passion for cars, motorbikes, other vehicles, or motorsports.
* Have any experience of web development, web design, software documentation, the automotive industry, or car sales.
The details...
* Initially office based, long-term hybrid possible.
* Full-time, permanent, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
* Negotiable salary depending on skills and experience - £35k to £50k.
