Park Drive,Stenhousemuir FK5 3BB
Parkview Practice are excited to offer the new position of a salaried GP to join our well respected, established practice with potential for partnership. This position has become available due to the retirement of our longstanding, senior partner.
We are searching for a motivated, enthusiastic GP who shares our practice ethos to provide excellent, patient centred care while working as part of an experienced, supportive team. The available position is for 6 sessions, although we could have some flexibility regarding the working days. There would be the opportunity for working extra sessions to cover annual leave. All members of the practice team value work life balance and we strive to maintain this while delivering excellent medical services to our patient population of 5200. We would welcome enquiries from newly qualified GPs or those who are coming to the end of their training journey.
Our Practice is located in a purpose built health centre within Stenhousemuir in the central belt of Scotland. We serve the suburban areas of Larbert, Stenhousemuir and Carronshore. Forth Valley Royal Hospital is only a few miles away. The area is within a short commuting distance from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling and being well connected by both road and rail.
We are a friendly, dynamic, forward thinking and supportive team with low staff turnover. Our dedicated team compromises of 3 GP Partners, 1 ANP, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 Mental Health Nurses, a Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician and the support from a CTAC Phlebotomist. The Clinical team is supported by a very experienced, knowledgeable Administration Team, overseen by our Practice Manager. Within the Health Centre, we are also supported by a District Nursing team, Health Visiting team and treatment room. We regularly, informally, discuss difficult clinical cases and workload management, and encourage all clinical members of the team to do this.
GPs have 15 minute consultations as standard and offer a mixture of face to face and telephone. At present we use EMIS and will be moving to Vision by 2026. We welcome final year medical students from the University of Dundee twice a year for their general practice placements and recently we have became a training practice. There is an option for the successful candidate to get involved in teaching and training if this was an area of interest. Additionally, we would be enthusiastic to accommodate other special interests a candidate would like to pursue.
If youre passionate about delivering exceptional care and are interested in joining our excellent team, we would love to hear from you. We would encourage any informal enquiries and welcome any visits to the practice to meet our team. All enquiries will be treated confidentially.
