Job Title: Senior Account Manager
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 (OTE £42,000 year 1)
Working Pattern: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Home-based, with visits to Gaydio offices in Brighton & Manchester
Due to growth, they are looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, strategically-minded and, above all, passionate person to join the team as a Senior Account Manager. Ideally you'll be based in London/South East.
Working in a small and mighty team, you will manage one or two people as well as building your own portfolio of clients. The ideal person will have a background in selling media, ideally radio (although we’re still keen to hear from great candidates who’ve not sold radio before).
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Experience of selling media advertising/digital products or events sponsorships
* A strong working knowledge of the business community in London and/or Brighton
* An understanding of how advertising agencies work and the difference between servicing direct and agency clients - ideally with existing contacts to get stuck into
* Experience of planning and managing your own workload and that of teams as well
* Experience of line management
* Creativity in responding to client briefs
* Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment
* Experience of using Salesforce
* An understanding of the needs and lifestyles of LGBTQ+ people
