Service Advisor
Pembrook Resourcing is currently seeking, on behalf of their client, a Service Advisor to work in the aftersales department at their dealership.
The ideal Service Advisor:
1. Previous experience in a service role is preferred.
2. A passion to deliver a high standard of customer service.
3. An organised individual who can deal with many duties on the move.
4. Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills.
5. Administration skills, with the ability to use computers confidently and organise and prioritise work.
Service Advisor key responsibilities:
1. Establish rapport with and provide outstanding care to customers.
2. Identify and anticipate ways to help customers and achieve sales targets by selling technician labour and products.
3. Book in customer vehicles for servicing, maximising labour utilisation and efficiency.
4. Arrange alternative transport for customers (courtesy cars where possible) and liaise with drivers regarding pick-up and delivery of customer vehicles.
5. Manage and follow up on all work in progress on customer vehicles; liaise regularly with customers and the Workshop Controller (and Technicians as required) to meet pre-arranged time frames.
6. Ensure customers understand the service charges and what work will be or has been carried out; involve technical advisers to answer queries where necessary.
