As IT System Administrator for Marlowe Compliance Services, you will be working with our IT Team. You will be responsible for providing Infrastructure support and administration for users at Marlowe Compliance Services in the UK. As well as working on projects to move to our new Infrastructure environment in Azure. Joining a UK leading business in testing and compliance services. You will be joining the business at an exciting time, you will be helping to transform the existing infrastructure organisation from on-prem to Cloud. You will be working on supporting the existing legacy systems, as well as helping with the move to a new set-up including cloud and Azure platforms. This position reports to the Group IT Operations Manager for Marlowe Compliance Services & will be based from our office in Fazeley, Tamworth for a minimum of 3x days per week & the rest of the week from home. Requirements Key Duties as IT System Administrator: Set up, maintain, and decommission on-site networks and servers. Provide local support for desktop, server, and network infrastructure. Manage projects, including system integrations and Azure migrations. Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalations, and incident trends. Create technical documentation, SOPs, HLD/LLD diagrams, and backup strategies. Upskill team members, lead projects, and provide out-of-hours support when needed. Essential Skills: Experience with ticket logging, remote management, and monitoring tools. Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, RDS, and Azure AD. Strong networking skills (LAN, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS) and firewall troubleshooting. Expertise in Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Azure, Office 365). PowerShell scripting for automation and system migrations from on-prem to cloud. Ability to work independently on projects and proactively manage workloads. Beneficial Skills: Microsoft/Azure certifications (MS-900, AZ-900). Experience configuring firewalls (e.g., SonicWALL). Familiarity with governance frameworks (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials). Hands-on experience with system decommissioning and migrations. Industry recognised certifications (Cisco, Microsoft, Checkpoint, VMware, ITIL). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
