We are currently looking for a talented Service Desk Analyst, with a passion for technology and customer service to add to our existing IT support team. You will provide support in your area of expertise to NG Bailey's internal and external user base, both individually and as a team member. To assist with the development and support of your team as well as systems, services, solutions, and intellectual property.
Duties include:
* Act as a first point of contact for phone calls and emails from staff regarding IT issues and queries.
* Escalate major incident and high impact user calls to the correct team in a timely manner.
* Implement known remote fix solutions and workarounds and assist users to recover and continue operation.
* Ensure process documentation is accurate and up to date. Identify process improvements and agree changes to processes with the Senior Service Desk Analyst.
* Assist in IT Projects as required, from request for change (RfC) through to implementation and review. Support the continued availability, effectiveness, and safety of business systems.
* Ensure that Information Security risks are documented and escalated accordingly to reduce the occurrence and impact of security incidents.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications required
* Previous experience in a 1st line support position
* Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
* Basic experience of Active Directory, password resets and security group administration
* Experience of supporting Windows 10 and Office 365
* Exposure to networking technologies, VPN, Wireless, LAN and WAN
* Experience of troubleshooting IOS and Android mobile phones and tablets
* Experience in using mobile device management solutions such as Intune/EndPoint Manager
