Qualified:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents will be essential in fostering positive relationships within our nursery community.
Trainee:
Training will be provided where you will be supported to gain the knowledge and understanding to be a childcare practitioner.
Responsibilities
1. Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development across various domains.
2. Observe and assess children's progress, adapting activities to meet individual needs.
3. Maintain a safe and clean nursery environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
4. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and daily activities.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the nursery's curriculum.
6. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions.
7. Provide leadership and support to junior staff members as needed (qualified position).
Experience
1. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
2. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable.
3. Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children and parents.
4. Experience in managing groups of children while ensuring their safety and well-being is important.
5. A willingness to drive initiatives that enhance the learning environment will be an advantage.
