Department: Secretarial Location: St Albans Compensation: £30,000 - £35,000 / year Description To deliver PA services to two Partners and professional secretarial and administration support to the Directors and Managers of the Audit team. Key Responsibilities Diary management for the Partners Arranging meetings and booking meeting rooms Ad hoc client correspondence Expenses claims for Partners Putting signature on and sending Accounts Client creation / Anti-Money Laundering procedures - preparing of Letters of Engagement, client set-up forms and other documentation Preparing and sending Professional Clearance Letters Proof reading and formatting documents including reports and PowerPoint presentations Scanning and filing client records/files, archiving where necessary. Managing monthly billing reports and prospective client lists, including sending bills Other administration tasks required by the Audit team Working collaboratively with the other members of the secretarial team to ensure the administrative needs of the St. Albans office are met Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Experience in a similar role. Pro-active and ability to work on own initiative. Accuracy and the ability to communicate discreetly with certain clients and individuals. Effective organisational skills and ability to manage own workload. A desire to take an interest in the clients and business. Flexible and adaptable approach to work. Advanced level knowledge of MS Office packages incl. Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. A Level or equivalent with a minimum Grade B in English at GCSE or equivalent. Familiar with typing and formatting reports incl. tables and spreadsheets. Strong oral and written communication skills. Have a professional telephone manner. Experience of working within a Professional Services organisation is desirable, but not essential. Strong team player but also the ability to work independently and use initiative.
