We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic school in Gosport. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons, assisting with the development of children's learning, and ensuring a positive and productive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Support the Year 3 teacher in planning and delivering lessons. Work with small groups or individual students to help them with tasks and activities. Encourage positive behaviour and promote a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Assist with classroom management and maintain a safe, organized learning space. Support children with special educational needs, where required. Help assess and track the progress of students. Liaise with parents and staff to support student development. What We Are Looking For: A passion for working with children and a desire to make a positive impact. Previous experience working with primary-aged children (desirable but not essential). A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting children. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the role. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) preferred, but not essential.
