2nd Line Support Engineer- £210 per day via Umbrella - 2 months - Shrewsbury (on-site) - SCC Flex Contract
We are looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance to resolve IT issues escalated from the 1st line support team. You will be working with key systems including Windows, Office 365, and Active Directory, troubleshooting issues, performing system upgrades, and assisting users with technical queries.
Your responsibilities as the 2nd Line Support Engineer :
* Provide 2nd line support for issues related to Windows, Office 365, and Active Directory.
* Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues escalated from the 1st line support.
* Manage and maintain user accounts in Active Directory, including password resets, account creations, and permissions management.
* Support and maintain Office 365 environments, including email, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
* Provide support for Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and resolve system-level issues.
* Ensure systems are running optimally by performing regular updates, backups, and patch management.
As a successful 2nd Line Support Engineer, you will have:
* Strong experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows environments (Windows 10, Windows Server).
* Proficient in supporting Office 365 suite (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
* Experience with user management, group policies, and domain services within Active Directory.
* Basic understanding of network protocols, Firewalls, VPN, and TCP/IP troubleshooting.
* Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
