Zest Scientific is continuing to build a Molecular Diagnostics Sales team for a global player in the pharmaceutical and diagnostic space. We are looking for a sales professional or biomedical scientist in the Molecular Diagnoistic sector.
As an innovator of molecular-based diagnostic solutions for patients worldwide, our client provides anatomic pathology labs with a powerful combination of instrumentation, medical value assays and digitally integrated workflow.

The candidate.
* Experience in field sales with knowledge of molecular diagnostic product portfolio.
* A Biomedical Scientist with research and laboratory skills in Molecular Diagnostics or Molecular Biology plus excellent communication skills would also be considered.
* Educated with a BSc (Hons) /BA Degree in a Life Sciences subject.
* Skilled in defining customer needs and building strong and effective relationships.
* Have knowledge of best practices in Molecular Biology.
* Resilient, tenacious, adaptable, and flexible to work in a changing environment. You have the blend of discipline to follow best practices and creativity to redefine best practices. You will understand barriers to acceptance of new solutions and be able to drive positive sales outcomes.
* Self-motivated, focussed and methodical, with the ability to work alone yet readily communicate and share knowledge with the team, you can sell with high credibility and turn strategy into actionable implementation.
* You will develop commercial excellence in your territory using the latest digital sales engagement tools.
The role.
* You will promote molecular diagnostic equipment to key clinical, procurement, and finance stakeholders.
* Taking the lead in the account sales strategy and execution for the product portfolio on your territory, you will work closely with Customer Account Managers, Product Specialists, Managed Laboratory Service Team and Workflow IT Specialists.
* Managing and coordinating the Molecular Diagnostics response within complex pan pathology procurements, utilising self-discipline and a creative approach to ensure sales methodology is delivered on time and in full. This will involve engagement with all levels of the key decision-making team, including senior management.
