Role Overview
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of physical security system installation projects, including Lenel access control, CCTV, turnstiles, and biometric solutions. This role requires someone who is highly organised, proactive, and able to manage subcontractors, suppliers, and key client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Lead on projects, ensuring all security installations meet security & compliance standards.
- Develop detailed project plans, Gantt charts, and task lists using Zoho Projects.
- Coordinate project milestones, budgets, and schedules to meet deadlines.
- Identify risks, delays, and potential bottlenecks, implementing corrective actions.
2. Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as the primary liaison between Arana Security and Clients.
- Ensure smooth communication with Sales, the IT head, and subcontractors.
- Provide weekly progress reports & financial tracking updates.
- Handle site visits, client meetings, and compliance audits.
3. Resource & Contractor Management
- Manage subcontractors responsible for CCTV, access control, and network cabling installations, groundworks.
- Oversee supplier deliveries especially on sites with no storage facilities so delivery of goods needs to be timely with installations
- Assign work schedules & enforce quality control on installations.
-Have experience in both occupied space installations and out of hours installations
4. Budget & Financial Oversight
- Finance to ensure project costs align with the approved budgets
- Ensure all invoices, purchase orders, and cost reports follow guidelines.
- Track the 8% contingency budget for any unforeseen expenses.
5️. Compliance & Quality Control
- Ensure all installations comply with SSAIB certification & client security standards.
- Submit Risk & Method Statements before initiating site work.
- Oversee penetration testing for cybersecurity and final system certification sign-off.
Required Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- 5+ years of project management experience in security systems installations (CCTV, access control, biometric systems).
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience managing multi-site projects with high-security compliance.
- Strong stakeholder management skills – ability to liaise with corporate clients, subcontractors, and technical teams.
- Proficiency in project management software, ideally Zoho Projects.
- Financial acumen – ability to track budgets, invoices, and project costs.
- Knowledge of SSAIB, GDPR, and security industry compliance requirements.
Desirable:
- Experience with Lenel Access Control & Milestone CCTV software.
- Background in biometric security & IT infrastructure.
Travel to sites near Nottingham and North London will be a requirement of this contract.
