Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) Location: Sutton Salary Range: £85 - £100 per day (Depending on experience) Start: Immediate Contract: Full-time Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? If so, a specialist school in Sutton is seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to work with students with Autism (ASD), Down Syndrome, and complex needs. This rewarding role provides an opportunity to make a real difference in a supportive school environment. SEN TA Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students with ASD, Down Syndrome, and complex needs. Assist with classroom activities, ensuring each child can access learning effectively. Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement personalised education plans. Support students’ social and emotional development, encouraging independence. Assist with personal care and sensory needs where necessary. SEN TA Requirements: Experience working with children with SEN (school or care setting preferred). A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to learning support. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. A passion for helping students achieve their full potential.
