The Opportunity Join Holcim as a Maintenance Team Leader at our Callow Rock site, where you'll take charge of leading the maintenance team to ensure the effective operation of plant machinery. You'll play a pivotal role in improving safety, minimising unplanned downtime, and implementing best maintenance practices. This is an exciting opportunity to drive maintenance excellence in a dynamic and high-performing environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement safe working methods for repair procedures. Promote a strong safety culture by encouraging best practices and maintaining high safety standards. Lead and coordinate the maintenance team to meet operational targets and performance goals. Respond swiftly to unplanned breakdowns, ensuring plant equipment is returned to production efficiently. Plan and schedule preventative and reactive maintenance activities using Jotform and Key2 maintenance systems. Oversee contractor management for maintenance activities, including induction processes. Regularly update the site management team on the condition of site equipment and ongoing issues. Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) processes to prevent recurring failures. Ensure high standards of housekeeping, keeping all work areas clean and hazard-free. Identify cost-effective solutions to maintain effective plant operations. Who You Are You are a highly motivated Maintenance Team Leader with a solid background in engineering maintenance and a strong focus on improving asset performance and safety standards. Your leadership skills and technical expertise enable you to drive continuous improvement while ensuring operational efficiency. Proven background in mechanical maintenance, with experience in the engineering maintenance industry. NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent, with certifications in lifting, slinging, risk assessment, and manual handling. Skills: Strong knowledge of safe working practices, permits to work, and live working procedures. Competence in using maintenance systems such as Key2 and Jotform. Ability to organise and service a multi-skilled workforce. Excellent communication and influencing skills. High level of IT literacy and attention to detail. Results-driven, adaptable to change, and able to prioritise and multitask effectively. Benefits ??
