Airbus Helicopters is the world's largest helicopter manufacturer and the company's site at Oxford Airport is Britain's civil helicopter hub.
AHUK offers considerable experience in helicopter sales, bespoke completions, maintenance and spares support. Its in-house engineering capabilities include design, customisation, installation, flight-testing and certification, as well as technical support, maintenance, training and the supply of spares for civil and military applications.
AHUK is the MoD's chosen provider of helicopters and maintenance for its Defence Helicopter Flying school (referred to as MFTS) located in RAF Shawbury (Shropshire) and RAF Valley (Anglesey).
Responsibilities
1. Provide administration support to the CAMO department to maximise the effectiveness of the MFTS Ramp-up period and take over the administrative work of the MFTS CAMO Team.
2. Ensure that all appropriate legislative and Company Procedures are adhered to in order to maintain compliance and aircraft airworthiness.
3. Raise work orders and requisitions.
4. Ensure that the support and prepared documentation provided by Planning meets the needs of scheduled maintenance inputs.
5. Print, copy and scan aircraft maintenance records.
6. Update the company's record management system.
7. Update aircraft and component log books.
8. Liaise with other departments within the company.
9. Provide cross-functional support to the CAMO team as directed by the DCAM.
Knowledge/Skillset
Essential
1. High level of IT skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook as well as SharePoint.
2. Knowledge and understanding of office procedures and terminology.
3. Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and professional manner towards customers and internal departments.
4. Good standard of literacy and numeracy for reporting and administrative writing.
5. Good verbal communication skills.
6. Key organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
Desirable
1. Knowledge of CAA/EASA regulations relating to Part CAMO and Part 145 Airworthiness and Maintenance requirements.
