How You'll Make an Impact
* Obtain renewal terms for your customers and explore alternative quotations before presenting final options to account managers.
* Produce market presentations and negotiate terms with insurers.
* Check insurer documentation for accuracy and deliver to customers within specified timescales.
* Handle insurer queries and assist customers with their needs efficiently.
* Coordinate with insurers regarding policy changes and new terms.
* Ensure all account administration is completed, including confirming cover, processing policies, and chasing outstanding documentation.
* Be highly organized and proactive in working towards plans.
* Secure delivery of policy documentation from insurers, checking prior to approval and release.
* Manage account queries and credit control matters, highlighting concerns to account managers.
* Understand and apply relevant legal and regulatory policies related to insurance contracts.
* Track monthly budgets and income figures.
* Collaborate with your team, providing guidance and training as needed.
* Assist other team members when required.
* Comply with AJG Professional Standards Manual, especially regarding managing client information, whistleblowing, and treating customers fairly.
About You
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, with knowledge of general insurance, including London Market/Lloyd’s products.
* Experience in the insurance industry, particularly in corporate and motor fleet sectors.
* Experience working in regulated environments and targeting performance metrics.
* Risk-aware with strong customer service skills and the ability to identify potential risks.
* Detail-oriented, process-driven, and capable of meeting deadlines with good planning and analytical skills.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
