This is a newly created position for a client in Lancaster which will involve you working in a busy tax department providing a timely and quality service to a broad range of individual and business clients.
The duties of the role include:
1. Completion of Self-Assessment returns and tax computations for final submission to H M Revenue and Customs.
2. Advising clients on liabilities/repayments.
3. Dealing directly with H M Revenue & Customs to resolve queries.
There will also be opportunities to get experience in payroll, preparing VAT returns and accounts, and dealing with company administration.
The position would ideally suit someone who has had some tax experience in practice, although full training will be given to include support in attaining either the AAT or ATT qualification depending on current qualifications. You should have good interpersonal and organisational skills plus the ability to work to strict deadlines.
