King’s Directorate of Estates & Facilities is a key enabler of the university’s Strategic Vision 2029 and has created a strategy which demonstrates their intent and sets out how the Estates & Facilities team will support the ambition of the university’s strategic vision.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Real Estate Development, the Project Manager will be responsible for the design and delivery of a wide range of capital projects, in the £0.5m to £10m value range. You will manage projects from inception through to post-completion ensuring the University’s property portfolio continues to provide world-class facilities for students.
We are seeking a highly motivated, organised and capable individual with the ability to support, direct and deliver schemes through planning, design, procurement and construction phases, covering a varied portfolio of refurbishment, redevelopment, and new build projects. You will need to be a customer-focused individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the stakeholder skills required to lead internal stakeholder groups as well as a number of external delivery partners. Experience in M&E, life sciences or research would be advantageous but not essential.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious project professional to work in a client-side project management role supporting the delivery of high-profile and complex development schemes across a mixed-use Central London property portfolio.
