Post: Public Transport Information and Infrastructure Support Officer
Location: Inverness
Salary: £24,800 - £27,465
Contract: Fixed term - Initial 12 month contract
Position: Full Time (35 hours per week)
Local partners including HITRANS, The Highland Council and local bus operators are looking to appoint someone that can help improve the quality of public transport information provision and supporting infrastructure in and around the Inverness and Fort William areas.
The post-holder will help support and maintain the provision of at stop public transport information and infrastructure on behalf of the Highland Bus Service Improvement Partnership (BSIP) in Lochaber and the Inner Moray Firth. The post-holder will be based in the HITRANS office in Inverness but the role will also involve travel within the Partnership area as required. Flexible working arrangements will be available provided the core elements of the post can be undertaken as operationally required.
The post holder will work closely with a range of partners including local bus operators, and the Council's public transport and Roads teams. The post holder will hold a valid UK Drivers License.
