Reporting to the Head of Service, your primary responsibility will be to assistboth clinical andback officeservices with the changes needed to integrate and maintain SHaRON in their operations.
This ispredominantly aProject Management role, however as this role involvessignificant timesupporting staff within our services, it is particularly suited for individuals with strong interpersonal skills. ideal for someone with substantial prior experience in managing complex projects that bring about changes across NHS services and teams, especially in the digital area.
The role demands a comprehensive understanding of cross-team coordination to ensure smooth integration of digital initiatives into current systems. The ideal candidate will havedemonstratedsuccess in leading major change projects that enhance patient care and promote innovation while upholding the highest standards of quality and governance.
Furthermore, the position entails recognising and fostering new chances for integrating SHaRON within Berkshire Healthcare and advancing these prospects to expand the use of SHaRON by our services and patients. This role also manages the daily operations of the SHaRON Team and requires in-person interaction across various sites within Berkshire Healthcare Trust when needed.
• Support the integration and maintenance of the SHaRON programme within Berkshire Healthcare Services and other external Trusts
• Navigate challenges and ensure successful project outcomes aligned with the strategic goals of Berkshire Healthcare.
• Foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders while delivering exceptional service to staff and patients
• Inspire and guide a team to achieve excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee DPIA responsibilities and manage financial and contractual aspects of the programme, including tendering processes.
• Lead a team of project managers, software developers, and support staff to complete projects on time, within budget, and tohigh standards.
• Report on project advancements and provide thorough updates across the organisational structure.
• Leverage experience in offering online support and extensive background in mental health services.
• Maintain a solid understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and the pertinent reporting and escalation processes
• Ensureproficiencyin governance and regulatory standards, particularly ISO27001, DCB 160, and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).
• Ensure the SHaRON team stays informed about new technologies, receives proper training, adheres to our ISO 27001 development standard, and consistently passes both internal and external ISO 27001 audits.

The “must haves” for this role:
• Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent experience / short courses
• Post graduate management qualification or equivalent (i.e. professional courses or robust management experience)
• Project Management Qualification (Prince 2)
• Project Management experience in a senior role.
• A good knowledge of project software.
• Evidence of ISO27001 training.
• Evidence of continuous professional management development
• Previousexperience of working in an ISO27001 certificatedprogramme.
• Significant experienceof managing complex NHS Projects with a focus on implementing successful change.
• Experience of contract negotiations and contract management.
• Experience ofmaintainingcompliance with both NHS and local patients’ safety and governance standards.
• Experience of building relationships with stakeholders, successful collaborative and partnership working and ability to encourage others likewise.
• Experience managing suppliers and 3rd party contractors
• Experience of research in NHS and management of working in partnership with otherorganisationsexternal to NHS.
• Experience of all aspects of team management including managing multiprofessional teams.
• Experience of managing, working with and alongside technical software developers.
