About the role:
We are looking to recruit a Housing Project Coordinator to join our Team. The role involves managing housing projects through the full lifecycle from start-up to close down, managing the production of the required products, taking responsibility for overall progress and use of resources and initiating corrective action where appropriate.

You must have:
Knowledge:
Understanding of both public and private sectors roles in delivering economic and housing growth.
Project Management Framework(s)
Government policy relating to the funding and delivery of economic and housing related projects
Local policies and issues influencing housing projects in Gateshead.
Experience:
Project management
Project Budget Management
Undertaking community consultation
Demonstrating oral and written communication skills to a range of audiences including senior officers, directors and councillors
Delivering projects in liaison with other teams, services, groups and organisations.
Partnership working including external stakeholders
Being self-motivated & used to working on own initiative
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; PowerPoint).
Qualifications:
Full driving licence or means of access to a car / mobility support
Degree level qualification or professional construction related equivalent
Project Management qualification or equivalent level of experience.
