As our Water Hygiene Technician / Plumber, you'll report to the Contract Manager and be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance tasks, as well as occasional new minor installation work. Working as part of our maintenance team, you'll need to demonstrate a sound knowledge of heating systems, along with the ability to work on your own initiative and improve efficiency where possible. Your diverse contributions will help us create a hassle-free environment.

As our Water Hygiene Technician / Plumber, you'll be responsible for undertaking monitoring and maintenance of building water services as part of a Legionella Control Program, in accordance with ACoP L8 and HSG 274. This will involve temperature testing of water outlets, inspection of cold water storage tanks and hot water storage vessels, water sample collection, showerhead disinfection, risk assessment review, and logbook auditing. You'll also be involved in plumbing repairs, alterations, and installation works associated with domestic hot and cold water systems.
