Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
We are seeking an experienced German speaking Accounts Administrator to join our EU Shared Service Centre that is based in Newport. The successful candidate will be responsible for various financial processes supporting the daily operation of KLA’s European entities. You will need to demonstrate your ability to communicate fluently with our German finance team to build strong relationships, work to a high level of accuracy & to tight deadlines. This will be a Hybrid position, based 3 days a week in our Newport office after an onsite training period.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
* Process Travel & Expenses submissions as well as answering related queries.
* Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly.
* Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
* Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for financial documents.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
* Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial transactions.
* Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial processes and procedures.

* Fluent German speaker.
* Previous experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a shared service environment.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
