Supply Chain Administrator wanted in Bury St Edmunds PAY: £27,500 HOURS: 5.30am - 5.30pm SHIFT: 4on 4off Direct Table Foods is recruiting for a full-time Supply Chain Administrator to join its team. To support the Supply Chain in efficiently and accurately processing all customer orders and transport bookings. Liaising with the production and commercial teams regarding orders and delivery status. Purchase order management of stocked goods inbound and outbound to ensure all-around cost control and order fulfilment. Role responsibilities include: Liaise with the Supply Chain Manager, Supply Chain Supervisor, and Supply Chain Coordinator about fulfilling departmental requirements Ensure all orders are received and actioned, with the stock sheet updated and added to Exchequer (finance tool) Responsibility for arranging necessary transport Liaise with hauliers to facilitate the collection of goods to arrange for deliveries at the desired times Monitor stock levels to ensure stock is ready, on time, and it is in the correct place Check for and investigate stock discrepancies and Use By dates through the Warehouse Management System (Keymas) Compliance with the company's Hygiene and Health & Safety policies Skills & Experience required: WMS (Warehouse Manufacturing System) experience Good literacy and numeracy skills Communicate in a calm, assertive manner to clarify objectives, provide feedback, suggest improvements for individual performance, coach, and confirm competency Customer focused Can prioritize and work within tight deadlines Excellent communication and presentation skills Being part of a united team and providing first-class team capability Works with other departments cross-functionally to contribute beyond the formal team If you're interested in this opportunity, please send us your CV and a brief introduction about yourself.
