Position Description: Vehicle NVH is a key technical department within the product creation process, leading the engineering from concept to customer. Working here, you’ll give our vehicles their unique characteristics, ensuring the many aspects of refinement required to achieve the customer expectations for all programmes. The NVH Attributes Refinement Group encompasses 3 distinct teams; Prevention, Delivery and In-service Performance. Its responsible for strategy, methods, targets, testing, detection and resolution, specifically for the attributes of Squeak & Rattle and Water and Air Ingress across the full vehicle, systems and components. Operating from the very early phase of a vehicle programme, working cross functionally throughout design, development, manufacturing, launch until end of product life cycle. Your primary role will involve addressing and resolving attribute concerns related to S&R, body sealing and water leaks. You will lead the issue investigation process and establish root causes through close collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, and suppliers. A hands-on approach is essential during investigations, following 8D methodology, including the ability to interrogate drawings, models, and take measurements from production. Experience Required: Automotive/Engineering degree or equivalent automotive experience preferred Demonstrate potential to strategize work streams based on the Business Plan Ability to Plan work/Events and organise detailed activity to deliver the outcomes Ability to lead large project/ resolve complex issues through leading cross functional teams Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimum supervision Demonstrable problem-solving experience e.g. Root Cause Analysis, 8 Disciplines of problem solving Good experience of quality tools (8D, Fish bone, FTA, PDCA, 5Y etc) Ability to analyse large data that translates into next actions / us of MS Office applications Ability to plan work in 2 weeks sprints, organise work based on priority and deliver against plan Being resourceful with Hands on complex problem-solving capability Highly motivated, fast learner and ability to easily handle multiple tasks Ability to learn quickly new skills quickly (Have a Growth Mind-set) Demonstrate good negotiation skills to promote issues to next phase of investigation A proactive and personable nature to engage with cross functional areas Knowledge and understanding of automotive manufacturing processes Ability to deliver presentations to work groups and senior management A full UK driving licence Automotive Engineering Degree/ Mechanical Engineering Additional information: Location is Halewood (Primary) / West Midlands (Occasional) If you are interested and have the skills and experience required Apply Now We will process your CV and personal information to assess your suitability for the role.
