INCLUSIVE LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT (ILSA)
Actual annual salary: £17,105 - £17,703
Salary Scale Point 5 (range 5-6)
Monday - Friday 8.25am – 3.00pm plus a 35-minute unpaid lunchbreak each day
Total hours – 30 per week
Term time only plus 3 days

We have an exciting opportunity for an ILSA within our Inclusive Learning Support team in a school judged by OFSTED as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas, a school where both student achievement and attitudes to learning are amongst the best in the region. We are a fantastic learning community, set in one of Yorkshire’s most scenic areas, whose facilities have been further enhanced by the completion of a multi-million-pound refurbishment and expansion project.

We are looking for a colleague:
* to work as directed in supporting and enabling students with additional educational needs
* to work as a partnership with the teacher in the classroom to ensure students are able to achieve their personal best
* to report back to the Assistant Headteacher: Inclusion & Personalisation about student progress
