Position: Leakage Technician - Accommodation provided Employment: Full time 40 hours per week - 6 months and scope for an extension Salary: Up to £29,000 benefits and package £75 per week for staying away accommodation Location: South West Water - St Austell. Exeter and Barnstaple Important: Stay away role that offer accommodation company Van and petrol card covering all business mileage Shift Pattern: 4 X 10 hours shifts Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Accommodation: Will be provided Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night My client is a large utilities contractor with a great reputation in the water industry. They have an excellent reputation as one of the highest performing water utilities contractors in the UK and offer excellent opportunities to build a career in the water utilities sector. They are currently looking for experienced Leakage Technicians to work in South East Water. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the largest water consultancies attached to multiple water utility frameworks such as Southern Water, Thames Water, South East Water. The role consists of identifying water leaks underground using above ground tracing and sounding techniques. You will be provided with a company vehicle and training. The ideal candidate will have local road knowledge and be prepared to learn new skills. The role: ·Detecting water leaks ·Locating issues in water supply ·Walking local areas to trace leaks ·Driving to site to work on DMA Requirements: ·Full UK Driving License ·Able to walk long distances a day ·Good basic Maths & English skils ·Basic IT knowledge ·Good hearing to use equipment ·Willing to work nights and weekends and overtime when required ·Good team and lone working ·Ability to communicate findings On offer is a salary of up to £29,000 based working Monday to Thursday 40 hours per week. along with a fully expensed company vehicle, accommodation and £75 per week subsistence.
