Job title: Accreditation Executive Salary: Up to £25,500k FTE Location: Swindon Contract Type: Permanent - Full-time (35 hours per week) / Part-time (17 hours per week) We are now recruiting for an Accreditation Executive to join our Group Operations team, in a permanent capacity, working full- time at our Swindon offices located on key transport links in the town centre. About The Role Review and analyse information submitted by institutions to develop a detailed understanding of the content, delivery, and assessment of qualifications and courses. Rigorously interrogate this material against the Board’s requirements, and in line with the Standards for Providers. Key Responsibilities Comprehensive, tailored and timely assessment of all new training provider applications, in line with internal guidelines and procedures; Provide any training, guidance or support which is required for the centre; Manage the re-accreditation process and the closure of training providers where required; Raising invoices related to accreditation activities and assisting Finance with investigations & resolution of invoice queries; Building and maintaining excellent relationships with all Channel Partners; Timely and appropriate allocation of activities to the Subject Matter Expert group; Maintain a productive and positive relationship with the Subject Matter group; Maintaining correct records of accreditation regulations, accreditation status, re-accreditation reviews, accreditation reviewers contact details and updating and maintaining information in relevant systems; Feed into the framework to ensure intelligence from the approval, including outcomes, findings and trends, are reported to support overall business development and performance; Manage visit timetables to HEI’s and ensure timetables created within a timely manner to ensure all upcoming visits are scheduled adequately and confirmed within the agreed timeframe; Providing specialist advice, guidance, and information on accreditation requirements to the Higher Education Institution being visited, BCS Academic Accreditation Committee (AAC) members and assessors, and other Professional Engineering Institutions as required Carry out requirements related to Academic Accreditation Committee arrangements as required Maintaining an understanding of compliance with relevant third party and providing input to both internal and external audit of BCS policy, processes, and procedures; Continually looking at ways to make improvements to systems, processes and procedures take the lead in business improvement projects; Flexibility is required of all job holders to adjust responsibilities as required from time to time by their Line Manager/Divisional Director.
