Artifex Interior Systems is pleased to confirm the below opportunity within our business: Setter - Injection Moulding Main purpose of the job Setting tools in presses and their start up in line with production requirements. Start and Stop Injection Moulding Presses. Prepare Tools and Equipment in advance of a Tool Change. Sling and Lift Tools using Cranes. Presentation of 1st off part to Quality Dept. for 1st off process. Adhering to Artifex Quality and work procedures. Set up robot heads and load programmes. Reporting faults to tool-room / maintenance in accordance with Artifex procedures Ensure accurate completion of job packs prior to and at Tool Change. Recording deviations. Troubleshooting and supporting process improvements as directed by the Process Engineer. Responsible for safety checks, housekeeping in and around machine areas, routine maintenance checks where specified always being aware of the safety of other employees. Participate in SMED activities. Work to and report KPI targets/results with respect to Tool Change times and OEE data. Perform colour changes. Any other projects or tasks assigned to you by management team. Preferred skills and experience Experience with Injection Moulding, Robots. Hold or be actively pursuing an NVQ Level 2 in Injection Moulding and Tool Setting. NVQ Level 3 would be desirable. Have an overhead Crane Operation Licence. What you'll get You will receive a competitive salary ranging plus company holiday pay. Working hours are 40 per week on a three shift rotation - alternating on a weekly basis between afternoons (14:00-22:00), mornings (06:00-14:00) and nights (22:00-06:00). Training will be given to the right candidate with the opportunity to join an expanding site within our organisation. Please note that this position would require Sunday night start-up for the weeks on night shift.
