You'll lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, ensuring transparency and efficiency across the business. Working closely with the CFO, senior leadership, and external auditors, you'll implement strong financial controls, optimize cash flow, and provide strategic insights that drive our financial success. Upon joining, your objectives will include: First 30 Days: Review existing financial processes, reporting structures, and compliance requirements. Establish relationships with key stakeholders across finance and operations. First 60 Days: Identify opportunities for financial process improvements and risk mitigation. Enhance reporting efficiencies and support strategic forecasting efforts. First 90 Days & Beyond: Drive cash flow optimization and cost management strategies. Implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance. ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant. 5 years of financial management experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. Experience in audits, financial controls, and risk management. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (we use Xero). Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Industry knowledge in renewable energy, robotics, or offshore sectors. Exposure to international financial regulations and currency management. M&A due diligence and corporate finance projects.
