Process Engineer responsibilities include - Review current processes and existing methods of manufacture. Work on volume outputs, scrap/rework, quality, safety, and delivery commitments. Ensure that existing equipment and machinery are kept in good working order. Recommend new equipment when and where necessary. Support with the creation of new manuals and staff training where necessary. Assist with plant layouts to ensure material flow is maximised. Process Engineer desirable skills and experience - Experience working within a similar role (Production Engineer etc) knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques. Knowledge of QMS such as ISO 9001, AS 9100, or IATF 16949. Proven experience working on NPI, SMED, 5S, and Kanban. Mechanical engineering education (HNC/HNC) or relevant training.
