The role of Management Accounts Assistant is to support the Management Accountant and develop the skills to become a Management Accountant.

Day to Day Duties
* Preparing monthly accruals, prepayments, bad debts, rebates, etc.
* Preparing financial statements and annual budgets
* Ensuring spending is in line with budgets
* Fixed asset postings and monthly analysis against budget
* Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Credit control and purchase ledger support
* Analyzing the company’s financial performance and making longer-term forecasts
* Recommending ways of cutting costs
* Providing information for audits and external reporting
* Working with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions, including branch system process guidance and Group companies financial procedures
Minimum Requirements:
* AAT level 3/4
* Experience of working within an accounts role
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent Maths and IT skills
* Have your own transport
* Previous experience of working in Accounts within the manufacturing industry would be desirable
