As an Experienced Business Manager, you will be contributing to the development and growth of your own account, engaging in business development, career management, and P/L responsibilities.
Your main responsibilities will be:
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
1. Maximise the potential of your future business unit by designing your business plan with mid-size accounts and major accounts of the British industrial market.
2. Create new business opportunities by prospecting new customers.
3. Generate new business leads with existing customers.
4. Close deals to support your clients with consulting or service centre contracts.
5. Manage the delivery of your offers with the support of the technical direction.
RECRUITMENT AND CAREER MANAGEMENT
1. Participate in the recruitment policy through the establishment of your own recruitment plan.
2. Select and recruit the consultants who will join your team.
3. Be in charge of the consultant career evolution (career management meetings, annual appraisal, training management).
4. Be in charge of the level of service of your team on your clients' projects.
PROFIT CENTRE MANAGEMENT
1. Manage your personal account, with relevance to P&L and financial performance.
2. Manage customer relations and satisfaction to build long-term partnerships.
3. Manage your profitability in cooperation with other support functions (technical direction, finance) as part of the company's financial growth.
4. Align constantly your activity and manage the evolution of your offers to thrive in the development of a long-term relationship with your customers.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will possess a curiosity for the Engineering sector, with a result-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset. They will be comfortable working in an international and fast-paced environment.
Experience required:
* Bachelors or master's degree in Engineering, Management, or Business Administration.
* Min 2 years of experience in Defence.
* Demonstrable experience in leading teams and performing business development activities.
* Experience working autonomously, being result-oriented, having an entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication skills, and natural leadership is crucial.
