Veterinarians $110-$140k per annum
Invercargill, Southland, NZ
New Zealanders believe life is for living. It’s about balancing a good day’s work with time for leisure, family and friends. Our client is a progressive animal health business seen as a leader in its field, with clinics based throughout New Zealand and Australia. They focus on career development and progression and providing support for their vets, and they are accredited employers, making it easier for them to support the visa application process.
Equine Vacancy
They are proactively succession planning for one of our most experienced senior Equine vets and are looking for a general Equine Surgeon to join their team. The work is varied, with no two days the same and the successful applicant is encouraged to participate in all aspects of the practice. Duties include the performance of equine surgeries, attendance at race meetings and breeding work (both fresh and frozen AI) during the breeding season. We would welcome an applicant with a desire to learn and further develop their equine surgical skills, or with a speciality in equine surgery.
Small Animal Vacancy
Two of their fabulous small animal vets are returning home to the UK towards the end of the year. They are sad to see them go but excited about the opportunity this creates for other talented vets to join their team. Their clinic is shiny and new after a significant extension, with all the bells and whistles. Whether you like to focus on consults or dentals or perhaps enjoy orthopaedics, they will help you grow and progress in your area of choice. With a very experienced nursing team of ten, you will have the support and care you need to get the job done right.
If you are a veterinarian interested in living and working in New Zealand in a superbly built clinic with an awesome team and NZ’s best outdoor activities, tramping, mountain biking, fishing or hunting close by, please click apply, we would love to tell you more.
Invercargill is located two hours from NZs tourist adventure capital Queenstown and Central Otago ski fields, tracks and trails, and two hours from Dunedin where you’ll find more natural wonders and perhaps a concert or two! They provide six weeks accommodation to help get you settled in quickly
