We are excited to expand our current rotations and recruit to our B5 physiotherapy posts at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
There are opportunities to rotate across our Winchester, Basingstoke, Alton, and Andover sites on a variety of rotations and specialties throughout the patient pathway, from front door to rehab. These settings include ITU, surgery, ED, medical, cardiology, elderly care, out-patients, orthopaedics (including trauma and elective), stroke, rehab, and paediatrics.
There is no better way to start or develop your career. You will be supported by experienced clinicians who will teach you the skills you need to deliver excellent patient care and progress your career.
If you have excellent communication skills, are eager to learn, and are passionate about providing outstanding patient care, we would love to hear from you.
For further information or to arrange an informal visit please contact Sam Long or Kim Dalzell.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess and treat a variety of conditions across all core rotations whilst working as part of a wider therapy team to promote and develop evidence-based care.
2. Participate in the on-call training rota and partake in 7-day working as required.
3. Engage in service improvement projects and work alongside experienced colleagues of all levels.
4. Assist in the support and guidance of Therapy Assistants.
Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT) provides hospital services to around 570,000 people living in Hampshire and parts of West Berkshire, and specialist services to patients from all over the country.
As a Rotational Band 5 within the Therapy Team, you can expect to receive regular supervision, a comprehensive on-call training package, including a simulation training programme. You will also be enrolled in a multidisciplinary Preceptorship programme for all newly qualified band 5s.
There will be a requirement to work across sites when needed, so a flexible approach is necessary.
Happy to Talk Flexible Working - all requests for flexible and part-time working will be considered.
